Ocean Universal in Cairns stocks a proper spearfishing selection. Makes sense — the store was originally Spearfishing Superstore, so read here that side of things is in the DNA.

They carry rail spearguns, spearfishing wetsuits, long-blade fins, low-volume masks, weight belts, floats, dive knives, and spearfishing accessories. Gear is suited to tropical conditions — not southern stuff that doesn't suit FNQ.

The name changed to Ocean Universal because they'd already added scuba and freediving equipment over the years. But the spearo side hasn't been reduced. Spearfishing is still the backbone of the business.
